Police looking for two men who robbed delivery driver

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for two young men accused of robbing a delivery driver of food and cash.

According to police, the 21-year-old delivery driver for the Main Moon Restaurant on Belmont Avenue delivered food Sunday afternoon to a house in the 500 block of West Ravenwood Avenue on the South Side. A man met him at the door, then retrieved a gun from inside the house and robbed the man of the food and about $60.

Police later determined the house to be vacant. Officers went to another vacant house and found the empty food containers from the food order.

The cell phone used to place the food order was stolen earlier in the day from a car on Glenwood Avenue while the 57-year-old owner was attending church services.
