Pauleys mark 50th at outdoor event, hosted by family


CANFIELD — Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pauley celebrated their golden wedding anniversary July 25 during a dinner and barbecue that took place on the lawn of their home on Timbercrest Drive.

Hosts for the event were their children and grandchildren, Glade and Anne Pauley of Hudson, Gregory and Nancy Pauley of Canfield, Stephanie and Kent Winegar of Forsyth, Ill., and Garth Pauley of Cuyahoga Falls, who welcomed family and friends of their parents.

Featured at the event was a montage of the original wedding photos, family memories and a slide presentation organized and presented by their grandchildren, Brandon, Brianna, Danielle, Blake, Brad and Catie Pauley and Mitchell Winegar.

The former Madalyne Morrison and Thomas Pauley were married Sept. 12, 1959, at Austintown Community Church. The couple are active members of Canfield United Methodist Church,

Mrs. Pauley was the career development coordinator at Columbiana County Career Center in Lisbon.

Mr. Pauley, a Realtor for Coldwell Banker First Place Real Estate, was in sales with the Lyden Oil Co. before becoming vice president and general manager of Ponderosa Park in Salem, which was started in 1968 by his parents, Bill and Fran Pauley, formerly of Canfield. A graduate of Penn State University, he is active in Penn State Alumni Club and is a member of Canfield Rotary Club.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Pauley have been honored as Paul Harris Fellows.
