Lutheran East tops Mathews

CLEVELAND — Wade Pruitt scored on a 51-yard run for the Mathews High football team, which dropped a 12-6 decision to Cleveland Heights Lutheran East on Saturday.

Pruitt rushed for 142 yards on 14 carries for the Mustangs (0-8).

Lutheran East improved to 2-6.
