POLAND — Holy Family Church was the setting at 1:30 p.m. July 11 as marriage vows were exchanged by Krystina McGiffin and Christopher Thomas.

The bride is a daughter of Tim and Lisa McGiffin of Poland, and Mr. Thomas is a son of Linda and John Blackwell of Sheffield Village and Michael Thomas of Lorain.

Monsignor William Connell officiated, and a reception took place at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.

The couple honeymooned at St. Thomas and reside in Middleburg Heights.

The bride’s ivory gown featured a V-neckline and was enhanced with a Chantilly lace overlay and chapel train.

Maid of honor was Kelly Johnson, and bridesmaids were Caitlin Malone, Christina Phillis, Jeannine Stiglitz and Shannon Galgan. They wore sage green gowns. Flower girl was Elianna Pacella.

Frank Sasso was best man, and groomsmen were Nick Kowalczyk, Ray Bartel, Lucas Womack and Michael McGiffin. Luke Telloni was ring bearer.

A graduate of John Carroll University, in University Heights, with a bachelor’s degree in English and communications, Mrs. Thomas is a senior marketing writer with Nationwide Better Health in Solon.

Her husband earned a bachelor’s degree in history at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green. He teaches history and government at Normandy High School in Seven Hills.
