Hubbard, Western Reserve, Poland earn double wins

CANAL FULTON — Jackie Carlisle scored 16 points with five aces and made four kills to lead the Hubbard High volleyball team to a three-game win over Massillon Perry.

Dawn Lingenfelter made 15 digs while Haley Turner had six kills in Hubbard’s (21-0) win by scores of 20-25, 25-14 and 25-16.

Felicia Guilliouma scored 13 points and made 12 kills and 17 digs for Perry (11-10).

Hubbard 25-25, Northwest 11-7

CANAL FULTON — Carlisle made 12 kills while Marcy Angelo scored 11 points with three aces and made 19 assists.

Lingenfelter made eight digs while Lexi Starheim made six kills.

SALEM — Senior outside hitter Amy Scullion had one ace, two blocks and 16 kills.

Junior outside hitter Mariah Halleck had three aces, two blocks and 14 kills.

Junior setter Laura Brown had one ace, one block and 31 assists for Salem (19-3).

COLUMBIANA — Marie Voitus scored 13 points and made 18 digs for the Clippers.

For the Wildcats, Martina Jurek made seven kills and 23 digs while Kaitlyn Opritza made seven kills and seven blocks.

Kaylee Moore had four kills, three points and five digs.

Poland 25-25, Struthers 22-13

COLUMBIANA — Lauren Tadla made six kills and two blocks while Leanna Yeager contributed four kills, nine points, six aces, two blocks and six digs.

Amanda Molaskey scored five points and made three digs.

For the Wildcats (10-10), Jurek had five kills, two points and 10 digs.

Opritza made four kills, three blocks and two digs while Jascelynn Romeo had two points, three assists and three digs.

Poland 25-25, Columbiana 18-17

POLAND — Yeager made seven kills, four blocks and four digs, and scored 10 points with four aces.

Molaskey had three kills, five points and two digs while Alexis Hertz scored 10 points with two aces for the Bulldogs (14-7).

For the Clippers (11-10), Voitus scored seven points with two aces.

Western Reserve 25-25, Lake Center Christian 11-16

UNIONTOWN — Victoria Brown made 10 kills and five blocks while Heather Monoski made five kills for the Blue Devils.

Kristin O’Connell scored eight points while Claire Ferrando contributed six points, two aces and 13 assists.

UNIONTOWN — Brown made 12 kills and five blocks while Monoski made eight kills and three digs.

O’Connell scored six points while Ferrando had six points and four blocks.

CORTLAND — Senior libero Chelsea Kelligher had 17 points and 12 digs.

Junior middle hitter Elaine Kelley had four blocks and seven kills.

Junior setter Kelsey Dickey had three aces and 11 assists.

Sophomore outside hitter Laura Ogram had eight kills and two blocks for Lakeview (15-7).

Morshe Wright had six points and eight kills for Streetsboro (18-4).
