POLAND — Antigua was the honeymoon destination of Dr. Brandon Mikolich and his bride, the former Kara D’Amico, following their 6 p.m. June 13 wedding at Holy Family Church and reception at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.
Monsignor William Connell and the Rev. Richard Brobst officiated for the daughter of Michael and Kathy d’Amico, 4508 Clearview Drive, Canfield, and son of Drs. J. Ronald and Lynn Mikolich, 38 Audubon Road.
Beading enhanced the bride’s strapless candlelight silk gown.
The honor attendant, Amy D’Amico, and bridesmaids, Dr. Marissa Mikolich, and Alexis Novotny, wore navy gowns. The junior bridesmaids, Kelly Kratofil and Bridget Sweeney, wore buttercup-colored gowns, and the flower girl, Demi D’Amico, wore white.
Dr. Joseph Greco III was best man, and groomsmen were Michael D’Amico and Dr. Celso Acevedo. Ring bearer was Walter Sweeney, and ushers were Dr. John George, Andrew Mickley, Sean Novotny, and Patrick Murphy.
The bride graduated from Kent State University with bachelor’s and master’s degrees. She is employed by Canfield Local Schools at C.H.Campbell Elementary School as a first-grade teacher and volleyball coach.
The groom earned a bachelor’s degree from Villanova University and his medical degree from MCP Hahneman School of Medicine. He is employed in interventional cardiology at Sharon Regional Hospital. They live at 400 Riverside Court, Apt. 8.
