YOUNGSTOWN — Carrie Groves and James Palazzo, both of 90 Carter Circle, Apt. 3, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. July 18 at St. Matthias Church by the Rev. Peter Polando.

After a reception at the Byzantine Center at the Grove, Youngstown, the couple left for a honeymoon at Riviera Maya, Mexico. They live at the Carter Circle address.

Dave and Mary Ann Hershey, 74 Leighton Ave., Boardman, are parents of the bride, and the groom’s parents are Dennis and Rosalie Palazzo, 1605 Rosehedge Drive, Boardman.

The bride’s satin ball gown featured a halter style-bodice, an organza overlay accented with metallic beading, and a full pickup enhanced skirt.

Burnt orange gowns were worn by the bride’s sister and honor attendant, Stacie Snyder, and the bridesmaids, Shelly Horvat; Christie Clementi; Christine Gardner; Nicole Palazzo, Jamie Palazzo, and Lisa Palazzo, the groom’s sisters; and Cori Palazzo, his niece.

Zack Zaza performed the duties of best man, and serving as groomsmen were Matt Lisco; John Sorvillo; Bill Stanton; Mike Snyder, the bride’s brother-in-law; Denny Palazzo, a brother of the groom; and Gary Febinger, his cousin.

The bride is employed in the meat department at Sam’s Club, Boardman, and the groom is a driver for Fed Ex in North Jackson.
