• William Penn Association, Branch 28 of Youngstown, will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Boardman Grand Buffet on Market Street, Boardman. Honored will be 50-year members.
ATHLETIC GROUPS
• The McDonald Sideliners will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

• The Girard High School Athletic Boosters will meet at 8 p.m. Wednesday in the high school cafeteria.
CLASSES
• Hubbard High School Class of 1951 will meet at noon Wednesday at Frankie’s Main Street Cafe for lunch. All classmates are welcome.

• Chapter CE of the PEO Sisterhood will meet Wednesday for a noon luncheon at A La Cart in Canfield. The program will be a report of the PEO International Convention. Speaker will be Janet Lynn of Chapter EM. Hostesses are Alice Wright and Becky Murray.

• Warren Women’s Club will have a “Meet Me at the Fair” luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 9 at DiLucia’s Banquet Room, 2610 Elm Road NE, Warren. Marty Campana will conduct a live auction, and there will be a silent auction and bake sale. The speaker will be Mary Thompson, a musician. The cost is $12. • Austintown Friends of the Library will host a free public meeting at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Richard A. Hasler, author of five books about preaching, prayer and sports, will speak on his most recent book, “Surprises Around the Bend: 50 Adventurous Walkers.”
