Grove City 3, Bethany 2 — For the second straight match, the Bethany women’s soccer team played one of the PAC’s top teams down to the wire, but a tie-breaking Grove City goal with 11:08 left sent the Wolverines to a victory over the Bison.

Otterbein the Ohio Athletic Conference win at Mount Union Stadium in Alliance.

Slippery Rock 4, Seton Hill 0 — Jeremy Deighton scored his 12th and

13th goals of the season and Greg Blum recorded his seventh shutout for 21st-ranked Slippery Rock.

Hiram 3, Allegheny 2 — Allegheny ran out of time on a chilly night, scoring two goals late in the second half in theNorth Coast Athletic Conference game. The Terriers (7-5-1, 1-2-1 NCAC) scored two goals on three shots in the first 20 minutes to go out on top.

TENNIS

Grove City 9, Washington & Jefferson 0 — Grove City improved to 10-2 in Presidents’ Athletic Conference women’s tennis action at the Grove City College Courts. It is Grove City’s fifth shutout of the season.

Westminster 8, Geneva 1 — Westminster is 12-2 and Geneva is 9-5.
