“The Last Vampire On Earth.” Lemodeln Model and Talent Agency, 7536 Market St., Boardman. Open casting call. 10-6 Saturday. Scripts will be made available day of audition. Roles available: Aurelius, 20 (but is really 2,028); Chloe, average girl next door, preacher’s daughter, wants to be a missionary, is dying of AIDS, fairly thin; Melissa, 20, Chloe’s best friend in dorm; Melvin, 45-55, Chloe’s father, pastor at Kingdom Hall; Roberta, Chloe’s mother, homemaker, endearing and homey; Chad, 16, Chloe’s brother, sporty; Wayne, 30-35, bloodmobile guy, overweight, slob, greasy, bit of a hillbilly; Mary, literature student; Scott, literature student; Noah, student; two rich kids, 18-24, need to be snobby; Professor, 45-55, a bit quirky, likes to shake things up and crack jokes; Nurse: 25+, no specific look; Doctor, 40+ very caring and knowledgeable, no specific look, could also be a woman; Extras: People in Halloween costumes, skateboarders, hippies, hip-hop kids, rich kids, students, choir. “The Long Christmas Dinner,” “The Gift of the Magi,” and “An Implausible Claus.” Auditions will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Selah Restaurant, 130 S. Bridge St., Struthers, and Wednesday at Main Street Theatre, 5 N. Main St., Columbiana. Actors and actresses ages 15 and older are needed for many roles. Also one significant role for a girl age 9 to 12. Performances are Dec. 4, 5 and 6 at Main Street Theatre. (330) 207-3483.

“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” Geauga Lyric Arts Center, 106 Water St., Chardon. Auditions will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Oct. 23 and 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 24. Callbacks will be 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 25. Be prepared to sing a solo, with callbacks incorporating dance auditions as well as choral singing. Please prepare 16 measures from a musical theater song, a pop song, or a hymn. A pianist will be provided, though you may sing a cappella if you wish. “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.” Kent Trumbull Theatre, 4314 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren. Auditions are 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 25 and 27. Cast includes four men, six women, eight boys and nine girls from age 10 and up. Actors should be prepared to read from the script. Performances are Dec. 11-20. MUSICIANS

Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. Tri-C Metropolitan Campus Auditorium, downtown Cleveland. Auditions are ongoing for section strings (violin, viola, cello and bass), substitute brass and percussion for the 2009/10 season. Rehearsals are 7:30-10 p.m. Thursdays.
