Reserved season tickets on sale now for men’s, women’s hoops

Season ticket packages are on sale for the 2009-10 Youngstown State men’s and women’s basketball seasons.

The men have 15 home games while the women have 13 contests scheduled at the Beeghly Center.

The Penguin Package is $160 and includes reserved seat tickets for every men’s and women’s home game. By purchasing a Penguin Club membership in the Courtside Coaches Club, reserved seat season tickets for all games are $140. That price also includes parking and access to the Coaches Court Room in the Beeghly Center. Amenities for Penguin Club members in the Coaches Court include free food, drinks and popcorn. Membership in the Penguin Club starts at $75.

General admission season tickets for the upper bleachers are $100 each and include tickets for all 24 single games, as well as the four doubleheaders.

This year’s doubleheaders feature both teams against Kent State on Nov. 18, the men against Cleveland State and women vs. Milwaukee on Jan. 2, the men and women against Wright State on Feb. 25 and the women and men against Detroit on Feb. 27.

The men play non-conference home games against Hiram (Nov. 15), Kent State (Nov. 18), Geneva (Nov. 24), High Point (Dec. 22), Robert Morris (Dec. 30) and North Carolina Central (Jan. 27).

The women play non-conference home games against Kent State (Nov. 18), Canisius (Nov. 22), Pittsburgh (Dec. 2) and Bowling Green (Dec. 21).

The promotional schedule features team and Pete the Penguin posters, mouse pads, schedule magnets, team photos, pom-poms and cups.
