CANFIELD
Oct. 7
Drug paraphernalia: Police arrested a 49-year-old Youngstown man on East Main Street on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia for possession of a metal tube with burned ends and crack-cocaine residue.
Drug abuse, paraphernalia: A 17-year-old Youngstown female student was arrested for drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, after police found marijuana cigarettes and rolling papers on her.
Oct. 8
Missing paycheck: A resident of the 200 block of Oak Street reported a payroll check missing. The resident had placed the check on the seat of a truck, and it was either lost or stolen.
Vandalism: A male student’s SUV was vandalized in the parking lot at Canfield High School, 100 Cardinal Drive.
Vehicle damaged: A student reported a construction fence fell on his SUV, causing damage, as he was leaving the parking lot at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center.

Oct. 5
Breaking and entering: A water-department building was entered off of North Four Mile Run and Webb roads.
Breaking and entering: An air compressor, motorcycle and floor jack were stolen from Self Storage, 5214 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: An air conditioner and furnace were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Oakleigh Avenue.
Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 5000 block of North Benton Drive.
Oct. 6
Menacing: An employee was menacing another employee at Get Go, 5763 Mahoning Ave.
Recovered property: A BB pistol was recovered in the 4000 block of Mahoning Avenue.
Attempted fraud: A homeowner in the 300 block of Rome Drive reported he was told he won a lottery but would have to send cash first, which he did not do.
Attempted burglary: A door was damaged at an apartment in the 1000 block of Westchester Drive.
Criminal mischief: A woman reported that since July she has been receiving phone calls from a contractor who put a new roof on her house, work that she was unhappy with. She reported she found nails in her driveway at a home in the 3000 block of Johnson Street.

Burglary: A television and DVDs were taken at a home in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.
Criminal mischief: A resident reported two paint balls struck the front of his house in the 2000 block of North Edgehill Avenue, one on a door and another on a window, but no damage was done to them.
Aggravated menacing: A man is a suspect in making threats against his brother and his wife that he would kill them in a dispute over their father’s funeral bill at Hillbrook Apartments.
Breaking and entering: A 1978 Pontiac Bonneville was stolen along with various computer equipment at Spot Wash, 61 N. Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: A mailbox and post were stolen at an apartment in the 600 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A two-wheeled hand cart was stolen from a home in the 200 block of Idlewood Avenue.
Theft: $40 in gasoline was stolen at Shell Gas Station, 4200 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: Siding on a home was damaged by BB pellets in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.
Theft: A Kenwood radio faceplate was stolen from an auto at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Telecommunications harassment: A man was asking sexual questions at Elianto Tanning, 4381 Kirk Road.

Theft: An iPod and personal papers were stolen from an auto at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.
Theft: Money was stolen from an apartment in the 100 block of Westchester Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was vandalized at Rumors, 104 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: A laptop computer was stolen at an apartment in the 4000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Menacing: A man is a suspect in menacing at VooDoo, 4740 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A watch and a GPS system were taken from a vehicle at Fox Run Apartments, 15 N. Raccoon Road.
Oct. 9
Theft: A woman is a suspect after two checks were cashed from a bowling association in the 3000 block of Black Oak Lane.
Theft: Gaming equipment was stolen from an auto in the 1000 block of Lancaster Drive.
Theft: Jewelry was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Brandomyne Court.
Burglary: A house in the 6000 block of Callaway Circle was broken into and items were stolen.
Burglary: Gaming equipment and a computer were taken from a home in the 3000 block of Rebecca Drive.
Criminal damaging: Tires were slashed at a home in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road.
Burglary: A laptop computer, earrings and bottles of alcohol were taken from a home in the 600 block of Wilcox Road.
Disorderly conduct: A man was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at North Four Mile Run Road and Central Avenue.
Oct. 10
Theft: Hotel bedding, towels and a coffee pot were stolen at Best Western, 870 N. Canfield-Niles Road. A woman was issued a summons after another woman fled.
Attempted breaking and entering: A door to the Bamboo Garden, 5468 Mahoning Ave. was damaged.
Menacing: Threats were made to the landlord by a tenant in the 4000 block of Selkirk Avenue.
Theft: A rear license plate was stolen from an auto at Walgreens, 5501 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A GPS system, DVDs and movies were stolen from an auto at the Comfort Inn, 5570 Interstate Blvd.
Theft: A Blackberry, clothing and miscellaneous items were stolen from an auto at Country Inn.
Recovered property: An LG cell phone was recovered at Country Inn.
Theft: Seven steel gates were stolen from a home in the 90 block of South Four Mile Run Road.
Breaking and entering: A ladder was taken at a vacant home in the 2000 block of Birch Trace.
Felonious assault: A man was attacked and cut with a sharp object at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Disorderly conduct: A man was issued a summons for disorderly conduct in the 1000 block of Howard Street.
