SALEM —Tyler Shaw had one goal and Connor Gilmour scored the other on an assist by Isaac Weisman. Robert Daniels made three saves for the Tigers and Jacob Froats one. Kenny Saltsman had 11 saves for Salem. JVs: Howland 4-0.

STRUTHERS — Amy Vinopal had two goals and Emily Groubert had both assists for Mooney (4-7-4). Rachel Letscher made 15 saves.

VOLLEYBALL

Mathews 25-25, Brookfield 16-13

BROOKFIELD — Ashley Swezey made 13 kills and six digs while Leighann Clayton had two kills and two blocks for the Warriors. Brooklynn Hansley made four blocks, Alexa Dobozi scored six points and Tori Thompson had seven digs and 16 assists.

Mineral Ridge 25-25, Brookfield 14-4

BROOKFIELD — Katie Fife made seven kills and 11 blocks while Megan Ben had 20 digs and scored 16 points with seven aces for the Rams. Thompson and Kelsey Husnick each made seven digs for the Warriors.

BROOKFIELD — Ben made 10 kills and 14 digs and scored six points for the Rams. Fife had eight kills and 10 blocks while Jaclyn Cupp made six blocks. Abby Riffee had 12 digs and scored 11 points with three aces.
