Ohio gas prices up 15 cents from last week
COLUMBUS (AP) — Ohio gasoline prices have jumped 15 cents from last week’s lowest levels in nearly six months.
The current survey from auto club AAA, the Oil Price Information Service and Wright Express has regular-grade gas averaging $2.45 in the state, up from last Monday’s $2.30.
Ohio’s gas prices aren’t far from where they were a month ago, when the average was $2.48.
Last year at this time, regular cost around $3 statewide.
Prices for crude oil have risen in recent days after the International Energy Agency forecast an increase in fuel demand next year.
