400 attend first Travel Show in Boardman to benefit Rich Center

BOARDMAN — With winter weather approaching, people turned their attention to warm beaches and tropical temperatures.

About 400 people attended the first Travel Show at the Holiday Inn on South Avenue. The event, which took place today and was co-sponsored by The Vindicator and American Express VTI, featured displays from multiple travel agencies and other vendors.

Representatives from various travel agencies and other businesses offered discounts to those in attendance. Many people were happy to find deals for vacations or cruises.

Proceeds from the event benefited the Rich Center for Autism.
