Rosary services planned at St. Elizabeth Church

CAMPBELL — Our Lady of Lourdes rosary services will be at St. Elizabeth Church Grotto, 124 Keystone Ave., on Oct. 18. The Our Lady of Lourdes shrine replica was completed in 1961 by volunteers of the Slovak parish.

They hand-picked stone from a nearby quarry during the 1961 steel strike, according to long-time parishioner Charles M. Terek.

Bring a soft lawn chair if possible (chairs will be available). The shrine is handicapped-accessible. In case of inclement weather, the service will be in the church. The weekly rosary service will be by permanent deacon Anthony Falasca Jr.
