BOARDMAN — Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic was the honeymoon destination of Albert George Morar II and his bride, the former Bette Kristen Chikosky, following their 5:30 p.m. wedding on May 29 at Bethel Lutheran Church, and reception later that day at The Georgetown.
Aimee Raymond officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Steve and Karen Chikosky, 235 Waggaman Circle, and son of Albert Sr. and Sandra Morar, 3685 Eagle Creek Road, Leavittsburg.
The bride’s strapless white gown featured a beaded bodice, a pickup-style skirt and a chapel train.
Coral and white gowns were worn by the honor attendant, Angela D’Urso, and the bridesmaids, Megan Cunning, Sarah Gavalier, Sarah Morar, Theresa Mottle and Ashley Diehl. Flower girl was Haley Anglin.
Adam Garcia performed the duties of best man, and the groom’s attendants were Sarah Vansuch, Steve Bair, Jarrod Garcia, Vince Aarone and John Brkic. Ring bearer was James Morar, the groom’s cousin, and guests were ushered by Nathan Courtney, a cousin of the bride.
The bride graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer studies. She is a dance instructor with Judy Conti Dance Studio in Boardman.
The groom earned a master’s degree in economics from YSU and is employed by Verizon Wireless.
The couple live at 8568 Glenwood Ave., Unit 1.
