Upset Ohio woman killed jumping from car
FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio (AP) — Police say an Ohio woman upset over a family argument was fatally injured when she jumped from a car going 35 mph.
The victim, 30-year-old Marwa Yasin of Fairview Park near Cleveland, died early Wednesday. North Olmsted police say she was upset over a dispute with her husband.
She was riding with her sister Tuesday night and asked to be let out. When the sister kept driving, the victim jumped from the car.
Police say the driver didn’t want to leave her sister on the road. After the victim jumped, the driver looked back, saw her sister getting to her knees and thought she was OK.
Police say once their investigation is complete, it will be up to prosecutors to decide whether any charges are warranted.
