State: Pa. man propositioned daughter on the Internet

HARRISBURG (AP) — State authorities have charged a central Pennsylvania man with propositioning his own 13-year-old daughter on the Internet.

Attorney General Tom Corbett says the 39-year-old Lititz man went onto the Facebook social networking site using the name “Bad Daddy” to locate the girl, with whom he had had no contact for about 10 years. Authorities say he proposed a meeting earlier this month and described sex acts in graphic detail.

Corbett says the girl told her mother, who contacted police. The man was arrested Wednesday at the arranged meeting place. Officials say a camera and condoms were found in the vehicle.

The man — whose name is not being used to avoid identifying his daughter — is charged with felony unlawful contact with a minor, criminal attempted incest and other counts. He is in the Lancaster County Jail on $400,000 bail.
