Forecasters: Ohio in for a major soaking today

CINCINNATI (AP) — Much of Ohio is under a flood watch, with forecasters saying 2 to 3 inches of rainfall is possible in some areas today.

In the words of National Weather Service meteorologist Don Hughes: “It’s gonna rain and rain.”

The weather service cautions that flooding is possible along streams and rivers, including the Blanchard River, which has plagued the northwest Ohio city of Findlay with floods in recent years.
