Community forums set on Mathews school bond issue

VIENNA — Community forums offering information about the 8.1-mill bond issue proposed for the Mathews schools will be Tuesday at Neal Middle School, 3385 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, Fowler, and Oct. 19 and 28 at Mathews High School, 4429 Warren-Sharon Road.

All forums begin at 7 p.m., and everyone is welcome to come have their questions answered.

The 37-year bond issue would pay off the $22.5 million, plus interest, the district wants to borrow to build a new kindergarten-through-12th grade building which would replace all four of the district’s current schools.
