ASSOCIATIONS
• NARFE Chapter 14, for active and retired federal employees, invites all of the same to a meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Saxon Club, 710 Meridian Road, Youngstown. John P. Brown III, AMVETS national commander for 2007-08, will speak about veterans affairs.
ATHLETIC GROUPS
• The Girard Golden Eagles will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Girard Free Library.
• McDonald Midget Football Association will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizen’s room at the post office building.
• McDonald Sideliners meet every Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the high school.
AUXILIARIES
• ITAM Post 3 Ladies Auxiliary will have its monthly meeting at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Post Home. Officers will be installed and annual dues of $15 will be collected.
• K. of C. 4224 Auxiliary will have a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday. The ladies will be making rosaries.
• St. Elizabeth Health Center Auxiliary will meet at noon Monday in the private dining room. James Schultis, president of HMHP Development Foundation, will speak.

• Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1963 will meet at noon Wednesday at Stonebridge (formerly Rockne’s) on Route 224. Classmates, guests and spouses are welcome.
• Woodrow Wilson High School January and June classes of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s in Boardman. Members of the 1946 and 1948 classes are welcome.

• Canfield Junior Women’s League will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Brandywine Apartments Clubhouse, 3390 Flo Lor Drive, Austintown. • Friends of the Boardman Library will meet in the community room of the library at 9:30 a.m. Monday for a social with a program to follow at 10 a.m. Janice Bethel will present the program, “Up, Up & Away — a Ride on the Goodyear Blimp.” New members and guests are welcome. Reservations are not required. Hostesses for the social will be Esther K. Bertch, Karen Jarosz, Shirley Shafer and Mary Jane Stevens. A reminder: Friends are in need of books, magazines and tapes to supply the book cart. Funds raised are for the reading programs provided by the library. Community contributions are appreciated.
