BOARDMAN — Police have arrested four Youngstown people in a June burglary at a Brandon Avenue home.
Marcus E. Teague, 20, of Almyra Avenue; William Bonner, 27, of Kendis Circle; and Alonzo D. Bonner, 24, of West Marion Avenue, were arrested on warrants charging them with aggravated burglary.
Aliea I. Fletcher, 24, of Mable Street, was arrested on a warrant for complicity to aggravated burglary.
Alonzo Bonner was arrested Friday at St. John’s Church, Wick Avenue. The other three were arrested Tuesday at their respective homes.
All four were lodged in the Mahoning County jail. They are scheduled to appear today in Mahoning County Area Court.
In June, two women in their 20s were house-sitting at the Brandon Avenue home of a friend when three men, one with a gun, came into the home and took one woman’s purse and and the other’s wallet. The men entered through the door that leads from the basement.
The men took a cell phone and $15 from the purse and returned the purse to her.
The gunman put the gun to the other woman’s back to get her cellular phone. While one man kept the gun pointed at the women, the other two went through the home collecting items including a flat-screen television and video game units, the women told police.
The women said they were held for between 10 and 15 minutes. They told police they believed there were other people in the vehicles outside the home.
The men threw one woman’s cell phone back to her as they were leaving but kept the other. The suspects left in an older, white car and a silver Jeep, and the women called 911.
