Ohio Senate Minority Leader Capri Cafaro to speak at UN on Thursday

Ohio Senate Minority Leader Capri Cafaro of Liberty will deliver a speech Thursday at the United Nations in New York City.

Cafaro, D-32nd, will speak about advocacy and activism on behalf of older people on the International Day of Older Persons. Cafaro is an advocate for seniors and had served as an economic policy associate for Global Action on Aging, an organization for older people.

Cafaro’s speech is supposed to start about noon.
