East Side man found not guilty by reason of insanity in March shooting death

YOUNGSTOWN — A judge today found Daniel Ortello, 20, of South Bruce Street, not guilty by reason of insanity in the March shooting death of Seetreon Dothard and attempted murder of K’Shawn Weaver on the city’s East Side.

Ortello will be sent to a state mental health facility, where he will remain until ordered released By Judge R. Scott Krichbaum of Mahoning County Common Pleas Court.
