TATTING TALES: Demonstrating the art of tatting for schoolchildren visiting the Barnhisel House, on state Route 422 in Girard, are, from left, Patty Miller and Darlene Scaggs. In addition to the demonstration, the Girard Historical Society has planned its annual Cemetery Walk, which will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Barnhisel House, where there will be a bake sale. Guests may walk or ride to Girard Cemetery, where they will be greeted by guides at four historical graves and the mausoleum. The prices, which include the cemetery visit and a tour of the house, are $5 for adults, $3 for children and seniors, and free for kids under 5.
