Valley lawmaker co-sponsors judge intimidation bill
COLUMBUS — The Ohio House passed legislation that would institute stiffer penalties against those who attack judges or magistrates — including allowing the death penalty for those convicted of murder in such cases.
House Bill 103 was sponsored by Reps. Sandra Stabile Harwood of Niles, D-65th, and Lorraine Fende, a Democrat from the Cleveland area.
It passed on a final vote of 89-4 today and heads to the Ohio Senate for further consideration.
