• Members of AARP Canfield will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at the Canfield Presbyterian church. The speaker will be Richard Otterson, who will speak on medical savings and retirement programs available to senior citizens. Blood pressure screenings will be from noon until the meeting. Please note the time change for this meeting. Members are asked to take nonperishable food items to be donated to St. Vincent de Paul’s Soup Kitchen. All retirees and DROP participants of the Ohio Police and Fire Disability and Pension Fund living in Mahoning and Columbiana Countiues, along with their spouses or survivors, are welcome to the meeting. • St. Joseph Goldenagers of Austintown will meet at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Lyons Hall with Ellen Menaldi presiding. Betty Connors will give the Thought of the Day, and secretary and treasurer reports will be given. Bingo and cards will be played, there will be a 50-50 raffle, and birthdays and anniversaries will be honored. Cake will be served. Get-well cards will be sent to members who are ill. Membership is open; meetings are the second Thursday of each month.
