In the cup! Area aces

Walter Kohowski of Youngstown aced the 184-yard No. 14 hole at Yankee Run with a 4-iron. Witnesses were Frank Lucarell, Ed Fox, Dennis Moore and Dave Camacci.

Mike Homsey of Boardman aced the No. 5 hole at Knoll Run Golf Course in Coitsville. He used a 3-wood on the 187-yard hole. Witnesses were Duane Tkac, James Infante and Don Caspary.

Frank Sferra of New Middletown aced the 211-yard, No. 11 hole at Knoll Run Golf Course using a 3 iron in the Transit Services League playoffs. Witnessed by Joe Swantner, Bob Zetts and Bill Daley.

Richard Brooks of Pittsburgh aced the 180-yard No. 7 hole on the south course at Mill Creek Golf Course using a 6-iron. It was witnessed by Paul Stevens.

Ed Glazewski of Cortland aced the 154-yard No. 8 hole at Reserve Run Golf Course. He used an 8-iron and the shot was witnessed by Kash Smith and Lon Komandt.

Carmen Forde aced the the 169-yard, No. 6 hole with a 6-iron at Mahoning Country Club. His partners were Tony Nicastro, Mike Wasser and Gary Gibson.
