Federated Women plan scholarship event

YOUNGSTOWN — Youngstown Federation of Women’s Clubs will celebrate its 103th year of activities and community service by hosting its major scholarship fundraiser on Oct. 21 at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.
Each year the federation awards a scholarship to a nontraditional student who is attending Youngstown State University.
The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m., and the event will include a style show to be presented by Toula’s, and a musical medley, “Let Me Entertain You,” by Ellen Wakeford-Banks, Jim McClellan, Jack Chiarniello and Sterling Anderson.
Also featured during the event will be a raffle and the awarding of door prizes.
