Antique Tractor Club ride planned for Saturday
MIDDLEFIELD — The Antique Tractor Club of Trumbull County will hold its 5th Annual Fall Foliage Tractor Ride on Saturday.
Participants should arrive at 8:45 a.m. at the Middlefield Auction Barn on Nauvoo Road. Tractors will pull out at 9 a.m. for a 35-mile ride that covers the corners of Ashtabula, Geauga and Trumbull counties.
Tractors should be in good running order with good brakes. Sediment bowls should be checked for dirt in the gasoline. Increasing tire pressure to reduce tire wear is suggested. Garden or lawn tractors are not permitted.
Wagons will be available for those people not wanting to drive and for hauling extra fuel and personal items.
A family-style meal will be served at 4-H Camp Whitewood. The cost is $10 per person. After the meal, the ride will continue to Windsor Mills covered bridge. The ride will conclude at 3 p.m. at the Auction Barn.
The event is open to members of the tractor club only. Memberships may be purchased the day of the ride. The fee is $12 for an individual or $14 for a family.
