• Josiah E. Wheeler and Nicole (Leonard) Wheeler, of Cibolo, Texas, announce the birth of their first child. Their son’s name is Josiah Edward Wheeler Jr., and he was born Sept. 15 at Northeast Baptist Hospital in San Antonio. Grandparents are Ronald and Joan (Leonard ) Rhodes of Youngstown.

• Joseph and Jana (Humphries) DiPasqua of Simpsonville, S.C., are announcing the birth of a daughter, Carmela Rose, on Sept. 17 at St. Francis Hospital. Her sisters are Sofia Adeline and Julia Rae. Grandparents of the children are Joe and Adeline DiPasqua of Boardman and Charles and Jan Humphries of Gaffney, S.C. Their great-grandmother is Kathleen Littleton of Benson, N.C.
