Hope Works to help people find jobs

STAFF REPORT

WARREN — Hope Works Job Networking, a nondenominational effort sponsored by a collaborative of Trumbull County Catholic parishes, will have Jim Grant and Greg Reynolds, founders of Chagrin Valley Job Seekers, at its sessions Tuesday and Oct. 20.

Grant and Reynolds started Chagrin Valley Job Seekers in April 2002. More than 3,200 people have benefited from membership in the group to date.

The purpose of CVJS is to provide professionals in career transition with free networking contacts, job leads, resources and knowledge to enhance their job searches.

Hope Works Job Networking sessions are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 9 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3020 Reeves Road, N.E.

The purpose of this initiative is to offer members of the community who are seeking work the opportunity to be better-prepared to find a job.

Hope Works is free and open to the public. Participants do not have to be Catholic to attend.
