Historical society plans cemetery walk

GIRARD — Girard Historical Society has planned a cemetery walk for Oct. 10. Those interested in participating will meet at 4 p.m. at the Barnhisel House, 1011 S. State St., and walk to the cemetery, or park at the cemetery and join the walkers there.

The price for the cemetery visit and a tour of the Barnhisel House is $5 for adults, $3 for children and seniors, and free for those under 5. There will also be a bake sale.

Tours of the Barnhisel House museum are also available from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 11 and Oct. 25. The next society meeting will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the library.
