GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced

TUESDAY

• Daphne will meet at 11:30 a.m. at the home of Joyce Patterson for a Christmas book review by Rose Marie Roth. The executive board will host the event, and Irene Slosser will be coordinator.

• Ikebana will have a Christmas luncheon. Dues are to be paid.

WEDNESDAY

• A guest day luncheon is planned by Mahoning for noon at Tippecanoe Country Club, 5870 Tippecanoe Road. The Rev. Gary Smith will speak on “Plants and Flowers of the Bible Holy Land.” Hostesses will be Joanne Ziemianski and Barbara Wigle.

THURSDAY

• A Christmas party for St. Charles will be at Antone’s Banquet Center. The 6 p.m. social will be followed by a 6:30 p.m. dinner and a white elephant gift exchange.

• Sharon Maloney will be the hostess for a meeting of Sweetbriar to follow the decorating of Austintown Library.

FRIDAY

• Nature Lovers will have a Christmas luncheon at 1 p.m.

• Garden club events are published Sunday. The deadline is noon Thursday.
