BOARDMAN — Jamie’s Dance Force will present its fifth annual Christmas Extravaganza at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Boardman Performing Arts Center, Boardman High School, 7777 Glenwood Ave.

The Boardman Community Theater is once again joining JDF in the production, which will feature more than 60 dancers, singers, a live band and costumed Christmas characters.

This year’s Christmas Extravaganza highlights Mahoning Valley holiday memories. Photographs and video will augment the live performances and focus on the best of our Christmases past.

The Vindicator provided some of the vintage photos that will be shown. New songs and routines in the style of the 1940s and 1950s will join such popular numbers as “Rag Dolls,” “Toy Soldiers” and the rousing “All I Want for Christmas.”

For ticket information, call (330) 758-6668 or go to the studio at 590 E. Western Reserve Road. All tickets are $12.

In a spirit of gratitude to the local community, Jamie’s Dance Force and Boardman Community Theater will be collecting donations for Second Harvest Food Bank the night of the show.

Barrels will be placed at the auditorium entrances.

Audience members are asked to bring nonperishable food items to help feed hungry families in our community.
