AVON — Holy Trinity Church was the setting at 2 p.m. Sept. 12 for the wedding of Lorianne Bernat and Bernie Garrah. Parents of the couple are Daniel and Patricia Bernat, 5329 S. Saratoga Ave., Austintown, and Bernie and Sharon Garrah, Kipton Nickle Plate Drive, LaGrange.
The Rev. John Trimbur officiated, and a reception was at Sammy’s at Legacy Village in Beachwood.
The couple honeymooned at St. Lucia and live in Westlake.
An ivory gown fashioned with a sweetheart neckline was worn by the bride. It was embellished with Swarovski crystals and featured a cathedral train.
Her sister, Aprilynn Norris, was matron of honor, and bridesmaids were Juli Foust, Heather Moravcik, Tammy Kanter and the groom’s sister, Kim Sulen. They wore chocolate brown gowns. Flower girls were the bride’s niece, Brook Norris, and the groom’s nieces, Macy and Mia Sulen.
Kyle Brocklebank served as best man, and groomsmen were Greg Ross, Chris Goetz, Christian Flores and the groom’s brother-in-law, Frank Sulen. Bennett Sulen, the groom’s nephew, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Garrah earned a degree in radiologic technology from St. Elizabeth School of Radiologic Technology in Youngstown. She is an MRI clinical science specialist at Hitachi Medical Systems America in Twinsburg.
Her husband graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He is a financial consultant with Skylight Financial Group in Cleveland.
