YOUNGSTOWN — Married at 3 p.m. Aug. 29 at Christian Revival & Discipleship Center were Denise Gibbs, 3497 Kiwatha Road, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie T. Gibbs, and Loren T. White, 712 Sunrise Court, Forth Worth, Texas, son of Jeanne Smith, 630 Fairgreen Ave., and Theodore White, 303 Burke Drive, Cheektowaga, N.Y.

The Revs. Kenneth and Leta Paramore officiated, and a reception followed at St. Maron Hall. The couple live in Fort Worth after a honeymoon in Hawaii.

The bride wore an ivory gown detailed with crystal beading. A tiara completed her ensemble.

Honor attendants were Natalie Foster and Sherry Thomas. and bridesmaids were Mary Holmes, the bride’s sister; Carol Roberson; and Shawnta Forrester. They wore rose petal-colored gowns. Pre’zious Wallace and Daz’arae Talton, the bride’s granddaughters, were flower girls.

Best man was Garald Lewis, and groomsmen were the groom’s cousins, Jerry Beulah and Darryl Cloud; her brother, Maurice Gibbs; and Mike Rogers. Austin Forrester was ring bearer, and ushers were her sons, Durell Wallace and Dwaylon Gibbs. Junior usher was her godson, Milik Ross Jr. Greeter was her goddaughter, Courtney Ross.

The bride, who uses the name Gibbs-White, is a sales associate at Macy’s at Southern Park Mall. Mr. White graduated from ATI Career Institute in Fort Worth with a bachelor’s degree and is a manufacturing engineer with Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth.
