CANFIELD — Courtney Leigh Bennett and Brian Clarke Sanders were married Sept. 13 during a 3 p.m. ceremony at Brucoli Wildlife Preserve. Parents of the bride are Steve and Cindy Bennett, 581 Barbcliff Drive. Mr. Sanders is a son of Dr. Clarke and April Sanders, 1660 Cardiff Road, Columbus.

The groom’s grandfather, the Rev. John Sanders, officiated, and a postnuptial reception took place Oct. 23 at The Loft at Smith Brothers in Columbus.

The couple honeymooned in Spain and live in Columbus.

Fashioned of English net, the bride’s gown was designed with an asymmetrical side drape, sweetheart neckline and ruffled tiered skirt.

Ashley Murphy of Washington, D.C., served as maid of honor, and flower girls were the groom’s cousins, Rosalind and Margot Sanders, of Moreland Hills.

Joe Bradley and Kyle Olson, both of Columbus, shared the duties of best man.

Mrs. Sanders graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications from Wittenberg University in Springfield. She is employed in technical support with Broadnet in Denver, where she is pursuing a master’s degree in international communication at the University of Denver.

The groom graduated from the University of Denver with a bachelor’s degree in international studies. He is a consultant with Dental Practice Strategies in Columbus.
