CANFIELD — Brenda L. Bungard, daughter of Robert and Kimberly Bungard of Austintown, was married June 20 to Jesse W. James of North Jackson, son of Jim and Gerri James.

The Rev. Arnold Edmonson officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony at Avion on the Water, where a reception followed.

The couple honeymooned in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and reside in Austintown.

The bride’s white halter-style gown was adorned with beading and ribbon, and the skirt fell to a chapel train.

Her sister, Jennifer Bungard, was maid of honor, wearing a blue gown. Pewter gowns were worn by the bridesmaids, Iris Reed; Michele Seese, the bride’s cousin; Jenna Sharkey; Margy Thornhill; and Nicole James, the groom’s sister. Flower girl was Macayle Thornhill.

Martin Schearrer was best man, and groomsmen were Joe Rolla, the bride’s cousin, and Dave Wood, Jason Preising, Paul Hill and Rusty Thornhill. Christian Schearrer was ring bearer.

Mrs. James earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Youngstown State University and is a sales associate with Home Depot.

Her husband holds an associate degree in applied science from ITT Technical Institute in Youngstown. He is owner of Silver Creek Meter Services.
