Jameson guild sponsors successful bazaar


NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Jameson Hospital Junior Guild raised more than $11,000 at its “An Affair of the Heart” November bazaar, with $1,291 coming from a Chinese auction, $661 from a bake sale and candy sale, and $516 for a New to You and used book sale. Sales from handcrafted items brought in $5,097, and the quilt raffle raised $3,600.

The winner of the Broken Star quilt was Teddi Karki, and Sylvia Huff won the Snow Man Family raffle. A list of the Chinese auction winners is posted on the door of the hostess shop at the hospital.
