CANFIELD CITY
Nov. 13
False prescription: Someone tried to call in a false prescription to Buckeye Pharmacy, 12 N. Broad Street.
Nov. 14
Assault: Police arrested a 21-year-old Topaz Circle woman for assault of an old boyfriend at her home.
Nov. 15
Stolen keys: A woman from the 10 block of Court Street reported that someone had stolen a set of house keys and a car key.
AUSTINTOWN
Nov. 16
Identity theft: A woman who resides at Compass West apartments told police someone had opened an account in her name with Dell Computers for an $864 purchase.
Theft: A diamond cross necklace was stolen from an apartment in the 2000 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft: A silver Chevrolet Malibu was stolen at Walgreens, 5501 Mahoning Ave.
Telephone harassment: A female victim reported receiving unwanted telephone calls at a home in the 3000 block of Kirk Road.
Nov. 17
Theft: Candy bars were stolen from Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Fraud: An unauthorized telephone account was opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 6000 block of Winterpark Avenue.
Theft: A woman’s purse was taken at Bob Evans, 1100 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Misuse of credit card: Charges were made to a victim’s account at Walgreens.
Breaking and entering: A woman reported two of her storage sheds were broken into at Mike’s Mini Storage.
Nov. 18
Attempted arson: A phone book and lighter fluid were set on fire in a hallway at a home in the 5000 block of Callaway Circle.
Menacing: A man is accused of menacing at Humility House, 755 Ohltown Road.
Menacing: Homeowners were harassed by a brother in North Carolina on house phones, cell phones and a business line at a home in the 3000 block of South Turner Road.
Misuse of credit card: A Youngstown man came to the police station and told police he had lost his credit/debit card and transactions had been made on it in Boardman, Struthers and Youngstown. An attempt to use the card was denied at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Obstructing official business: A Boardman man was arrested for obstructing official business when he refused to give accurate information during a traffic stop about his identity. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a marijuana pipe with residue.
Theft: A cell phone was left at Quaker Steak and Lube, 5800 Interstate Boulevard by a woman, who was later notified the phone had been located. She retrieved the phone and discovered that personal, adult pictures had been sent to another number from the phone and she began receiving text messages from the same number.
Nov. 19
Drug offense: A Canton man was arrested for possession of crack cocaine, heroin and drug paraphernalia in the parking lot at the Economy Inn, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Breaking and entering: Copper pipe and tools were stolen at a vacant house in the 200 block of N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Marijuana: Police arrested a Campbell man for possession of marijuana at Raccoon Road and Mahoning Avenue.
Nov. 20
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was given a “key job” at a home in the 4000 block of North Warwick Drive.
Criminal damaging: Tires were punctured on a vehicle in the 4000 block of North Warwick Drive.
Theft: Magazines were ordered and not received at a home in the 1000 block of South Turner Road.
Trespassing: Two men are suspected of removing scrap metal from outside a vacant house in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
Criminal damaging: Tires were punctured on a vehicle at a home in the 4000 block of North Warwick Drive.
Burglary: Computers and a camcorder were taken in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.
Theft: A GPS system was taken from an auto at the Hampton Inn, 880 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: A DVD player was taken from an auto at the Hampton Inn.
Menacing: Threats were being made to the homeowner in the 200 block of Marcia Drive.
Nov. 21
Burglary: A purse was taken from a home in the 3000 block of North Edgehill Avenue.
Breaking and entering: Copper pipe was cut and the cutter was left in the residence at a house in the 1000 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.
Recovered property: Two bicycles were found in the front yard of a home in the 5000 block of Tulane Avenue.
Telecommunications harassment: A man reported receiving unwanted phone calls at a home in the 1000 block of South Turner Road.
Theft: DVD movies were stolen, and the factory DVD players were damaged in an auto at the Hampton Inn.
Criminal damaging: Various items in the room were damaged at the Econo-Lodge, 5431 Seventy-Six Drive.
Attempted burglary: A rear storm door was broken at a home in the 2000 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.
Recovered property: A child’s bicycle was recovered at Austintown Middle School, 800 S. Raccoon Road.
Vicious dog: A man was arrested on a vicious-dog warrant at Mahoning Avenue and Turner Road.
Drug offense: A Newton Falls woman was arrested for drug abuse and possession of heroin and drug abuse instruments at Meridian Road and Hendricks Road. She was also charged with drug abuse in a motor vehicle.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the parking lot at Regal Cinema, 6020 Mahoning Ave.
Aggravated menacing: A man was threatened by an ex-employee at Pizza Pan, 4218 Mahoning Ave.
Nov. 22
Lost or stolen plate: A front license plate on a vehicle was reported lost or stolen at a home in the 2000 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.
Assault: A male victim was shot with a BB gun at Elmwood and South Edgehill avenues.
Aggravated menacing: A man was threatened at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Keys were stolen from an apartment in the 5000 block of South Raccoon Road.
