• Girard Choir and Band Boosters will have an auction at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at McMenamy’s, 325 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles. BAZAARS AND CRAFT SHOWS

• Salem Memorial Building Association, 785 E. State St., Salem, will host a holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Dec. 4 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 5. Vendors can rent an 8x31‚Ñ2-foot table with chairs for $25 for both days and donate one item for a Chinese auction. Lunch of homemade soup, sandwiches, desserts and beverages will be sold from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 4 and from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Dec. 5. • TNR of Warren, Inc., will host its second craft and gift show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 5 at Crest Lanes Banquet Hall, 3390 Youngstown Road S.E., Warren. Vendor tables are still available. BINGO, CARD PARTIES

• A no-limit Texas Hold’em Tournament will take place Saturday at St. Lucy Parish Banquet Center, 394 Tenney Ave., Campbell. The buy-in is $70, which entitles the player to $4,000 chips. Preregister by Friday to receive $500 extra chips. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and play begins at 6:30. There will be free food, bottled water and pop. DANCES

• USA Dance, Youngstown-Warren Ballroom Dancers Association, will have a Snowflake Ball from 4 to 9 p.m. Dec. 13 at Avon Oaks Ballroom, 1401 N. State St., Girard. The buffet dinner and dance are by advance ticket sales only. A limited number of tickets will be sold through Nov. 30, and are $35 for members, $40 for nonmembers and $25 for students. • Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, 480 Youngstown-Poland Road, Struthers, is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The ReStore carries a wide variety of furniture, including a large selection of couches and many large metal professional office desks; used building materials such as doors, windows, sinks, hardware and plumbing; lighting; home decor items; large and small appliances; electronics; toys; books and much more. All items are sold at low discount prices. ReStore takes donations and sells to the public, all to benefit Habitat for Humanity’s home-building program. • Lake Milton Presbyterian Church, 924 Grandview Road, will have a one-day Shoppers Mart from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. There will be new and like-new items for sale, and prices range from free to $5. Shoppers will be treated to a free cup of coffee and bowl of soup.

• Salvation Army Thrift Store in Austin Center, Mahoning Avenue, Austintown, is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. A variety of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and bric-a-brac is available at bargain prices.

SPECIAL EVENTS

• Ellsworth Fire Department, 6034 S. Salem-Warren Road, will have an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for children 5 to 12, and free for those 4 and under. Take a nonperishable food item for the needy and save $1 on a meal. There will be an auction of great gifts for the holidays and a baked goods and candy sale. There will also be activities for the children.
