Marchionda 50th celebrated Nov. 7 at sports grille

YOUNGSTOWN — Mr. and Mrs. Sam Marchionda, 4328 Sheridan Blvd., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends on Nov. 7 at Youngstown Sports Grille in Boardman.

Invitations for the festivity were issued by their children, Linda (Ron) Ser of Sharon, Pa.; Bob Marchionda and Diane (Bob) DiLoreto, both of Boardman; and Lisa (Chris) DiLoreto of Canton. There are eight grandchildren in the family.

Mr. Marchionda and the former Sally Kochmar were united in marriage on Nov. 28, 1959, at St. Elizabeth Church in Campbell, where they are members.

Prior to retiring in 1998, Mrs. Marchionda was a file clerk with the Visiting Nurse Association.

Mr. Marchionda retired in 1994 as a construction laborer.
