Frangopoulos 60th anniversary observed Oct. 27

CAMPBELL — A celebration took place Oct. 27 at The Lake Club in New Springfield, where Stanley and Anna Frangopoulos of Campbell were honored as they marked the 60th anniversary of their wedding. The couple were united in marriage in 1949 in New York, N.Y.

Hosts for the brunch were their children, Keri (Stanley) Monokandilos of Tarpon Springs, Fla.; Nicholas (Maria) Frangopoulos of Youngstown; Angie (Leftheri) Elenis, Despina (Skevos) Zembillas, and Constantino Frangopoulos, all of Campbell; and Michael (Becky) Frangopoulos of Poland. There are 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren in the family.

The couple are members of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church and the Kalymnian Society. They owned Atlas Painting and Sheeting Inc. until they retired in 1982. Mr. Frangopoulos served with the Greek navy.
