Senate will debate health care reform

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U. S. Senate has agreed to debate their $848 billion health care reform bill.

The roll-call vote was completed just minutes ago, and was approved along party lines by a vote of 60-40.

New York Times online called the vote "a formidable

display of muscle-flexing by the Democratic majority."

The debate will begin after Thanksgiving

and last through much of December, the Times report states.
