Society to release commemorative poster

SALEM — Salem Historical Society is releasing a poster depicting the Columbiana County throw, which commemorated the county’s 200th year celebration. The 12x14.5-inch color poster is available for $5 at the society’s gift shop or by calling (330) 337-8514.

Orders are also being accepted for the 51x68-inch cotton throws. The cost is $55 each.

Featured on the throws and posters are a number of historical Columbiana County sites, such as the courthouse in New Lisbon, the W.S. George Pottery of East Palestine, the Riverside Museum and the Boy and Boot Statue in Wellsville, the Firestone Family Memorial in Columbiana, and the Lusk Lock on the Sandy and Beaver Canal.
