YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for leads to arrest people who committed two robberies over the weekend.

According to police, a 30-year-old delivery man was attempting to deliver a pizza to a home on Randolph Street on Sunday afternoon but got lost and found himself driving down Broadview Avenue on the city’s West Side.

The delivery man told police a man flagged him down, pulled a gun from his hoodie, took $60 and punched him in the jaw.

The delivery man told police he went back to retrieve the money from the thief who then threatened to either shoot the delivery man or have his dog attack the man.

Police have a suspect in the robbery, but no arrest has been made.

Police also are trying to determine who robbed a man of $140 while he was walking down South Avenue on the South Side.

According to police, the 51-year-old East Florida Avenue man was walking along South near Florida Avenue late Saturday when two men came from behind and placed what felt like a gun to his back.

One of the thieves demanded the victim hand over his money, and the man handed the thieves $140 and a cell phone.

The two men turned and ran after taking the stolen goods. They were dressed in black and wearing hoodies, reports said.
