BOARDMAN — St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park was the setting at 4 p.m. Sept. 19 for the wedding of Meghan E. Marenkovic and Dominick M. Blasi III, both of Woodbridge, Va.

The Rev. Daniel G. Jones officiated, and a reception followed at the Davis Center in Youngstown. The couple honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico, and live in Woodbridge.

Parents of the bride are Mary Sue Conway of Canfield and George Marenkovic Jr. of Poland. The groom’s parents are Dominick and Marilyn Blasi of Scranton, Pa.

The bride’s silk sheath gown was trimmed with embroidered lace, pearls and crystals and featured a ruffled neckline and a chapel train.

Regan Harding, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Christa Thomas, Michelle Chufo, Catherine Walsh, Bethany Blasi and Melissa Blasi wore latt colored gowns with truffle sashes. Flower girls, Isabella Blasi and Mallory Gallagher, wore ivory gowns with truffle sashes.

The groom’s father was best man, and groomsmen were Fred Thompson, John S. Croom, DuJuan Dunmore, Greg Blasko, Sean Gallagher, Sean Marenkovic, and Donald Blasi. Ushers were Kevin P. Conway, Jason Emler and Jonathan Emler.

The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from St. Mary’s College in Indiana, and the groom attended Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pa. Both are Federal Police Officers in Washington, D.C.
