COLUMBUS — Jessica Schwinn and Brian Gartland, both of Columbus, were married at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 22 at St. Francis of Assisi Church with the Rev. Stephen Popovich officiating.

The bride is a daughter of Wilmer Schwinn and Rebecca Schwinn, both of Dublin.

Mr. Gartland is a son of Robert and Nancy Gartland of Austintown.

A reception followed at the home of Christopher and Jennifer Storts in Pataskala, and the couple departed for a honeymoon to Paris. They are living in Columbus.

Angela Sharb of Powell, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were her other sisters, Jacqueline Schwinn and Katherine Lindsey, both of Columbus. They wore green gowns.

The groom’s brother, Robert Gartland II of Poland, performed the duties of best man, and groomsmen were Michael Bowman of Warren and James Hanek III of Austintown. Cole Sharb of Powell, the bride’s nephew, was ring bearer.

The bride is a graduate of Ohio Dominican University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education.

Mr. Gartland earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems at Youngstown State University. He is an infrastructure specialist with the state of Ohio in Columbus.
